ugh I need help using adb, I have it installed and working(I think). I just don't know how to unistall the launcher then install the new one. I don't want to mess around too much in fear of breaking my phone, so help would be awesome... Im on vista and have sdk located on root of c: along with launcher2 in root of c:, I think I just need help with the cmd prompt wordage.

if your using the one da posted theirs no need for adb

so with the new rom manager, do you still need to flash koush's recovery image or does the rom manager do that for you? i'd prefer not to buy droid root pro just for one little thing...

finally home and now i'm browsing the goodies again...hmm...

ok i rebooted my phone and I have the original launcher(that came on the rom) back. I can just install the apk from the phone? Because I did that one time and then when I restarted my phone it went back to the rom launcher???

white star yes you have to flash koush's recovery using his rom manager very easy. then install from recovery...

bizz thanks for the quick reply, I installed off the apk and it went on and worked, then I restart my phone and I get the rom's original launcher again????

ok cool i just had the same issue when i tried to install his rom with jit enabled. had to go back and wipe data to get rid of the other launcher2

1.03 with jit has been released going to run it for a little longer just to see how the stabiltiy is but right now its fast much faster than without its here http://alldroid.org/threads/16132-JIT
bmderuosi back it up or just leave it on your sdcard and reload it after you load the rom again

What is JIT exactly? Fern what I read on alldroid it makes the phone run smoother but how does it do so? Could it harm the phone at all?

Its a program that send data to your CPU before its needed, or just as its needed. Its the same script that has n1 running higher mflops than droids even when it was running at 1.3ghz, it's been known to cause issues with the browser. But so far it seems stable.

how do u use themes on this ROM? i have metomorphe and when i loaded a theme all i got was FC. i want to switch my battery icon to the round one also.. also there seems to to be alot of unnnessary things in this ROM like what are the spare parts or dev tools? how can i shrink this all so..

You need to choose a theme from xda thar says its cyanogen mod compatible

hello all I just put NexTheme on and it gets rid of the battery percentage indicator and seems to slow down the Rom just a bit. Anyone have some other good working themes? I also remember seeing some themes that only change the top status bar to dark and transparent, I feel that may be all I need for this rom. Anyone know where them is at?
