How do I remove it? I click on the unlagfixme file and it gets stuck and says:

'mv: overwrite '/system/bin/playlogos1'?'

What do I do to get passed this step and remove it from my phone? Thanks

so i'm a bit confused. i thought the lagfix was supposed to...well, fix lag issues. i installed it, according to quadrant, my score is 2259, but my phone is lagging like crazy on every little action. from scrolling to opening applications, to weird delays trying to open the notification bar. am i missing something here? is there something else i can do? help please!!

^ this post worrys me.

so does the lag fix acctually make the phone faster or just quadrant scores?

my stock fascinate flies.. but i do want to root and do all this stuff to it but not if its just going to give me a superficial benchmark score.. i want to know if it actually makes it faster in useage.

thanks

I'm getting an error I need help with when running lagfixme AND unlagfixme.
Near the end of the batch file it is getting to:

mv: overwrite '/system/bin/playlogos1'?

It does not let me select Y or N or anything for that matter so it never completes. What am I missing? I don't see what I could be doing wrong.

Opps, nevermind. I assumed that when I rooted it that it installed the newest version of busybox. I was wrong.

Once busybox was installed through the market then the lag fix worked great.

So this won't fix my screen rotation lag? When I first got the phone rotation was really fast, now not so much.

Ok I rooted with no problem. SU and busybox are installed. I clicked on lagfix bat file but all I get is abdis not an internal or external, operable command? What am I doing wrong?

Scratch that got lag fix from app store. Quadrant went from 869 to 1902. I guess I should have set memory to 1GB not 690MB

rooted and working - quadrant score: 2249

Kinda wished I had ran Q before lag fix to see what the score was before hand... guess I could unlagfix and see

I used RyanZA's One Click Lag Fix from the market (after rooting) and it worked like a charm

I also can confirm that updating the latest version of busybox from the market and also grabbing RyanZA's one click lag fix worked perfect for me on the fascinate.

Prior to running the fix I had a score of 880 after it jumped up to 2160.

This forum has been such a wealth of information to me since I am a total newbie in not only the android phones but as well as anything more powerful than talking & old school texting... LOL

I am so glad I found this forum...

Thanks To All!!!

help!!! i tried to click on the unlagfixme.bat and it said complete in the prompt, restarted the phone and then after the verizon logo pops up, goes completely black. i can't even recognize the phone and i can't power it on past that.

can someone please help??

UPDATE

so it ended up bricking the phone. i couldn't get passed the splash page. i even tried rebooting and setting it back to factory reset in recovery mode. once i did that, i got an error that it couldn't load touchwiz it would give me the force close prompt on repeat. i couldn't click it fast enough for it to stop popping up. after that i decided it was time to take it back. luckily i'm still in the 30 day window and i got a brand new replacement. as of now the new phone is rooted, but i'm seriously debating if to put the lagfix on it. i didn't see much of an improvement and i'm not sure if it's worth having that happen again.

I had the same issue. I ran the unlagfixme.bat, it said to allow root access on the phone. I waited, and the phone never asked for root access. The LP went in to a force close loop. Pulled the battery, restarted, stuck at the Verizon splash screen.

I just did a clockwork nandroid backup. I'm trying to do a restore. I hope it works.

So, how do you remove the lag fix? It appears I'm not the only one who has problems. Do I need to mount the SD card? Sprinkle it with Holy water? Wait for a new ROM? Assuming I didn't brick the phone, of course.

Howdy how did you get it from forceclosing all the time? Was it reformatting the memory card?

Update for those having trouble removing the one click lag fix. I posted my fix in this thread;
[lag fix] working

For some reason, some rooted phones won't restore the boot splash logo the lag fix changed.

If you can't get the phone to start up, restoring it to stock with Odin is the best bet.
Odin restore files to get you back to stock.

We have a how to here, but the download links are dead.:(

Some very basic questions, because I can't be the only computer-illiterate member reading and getting skeered:

1. why remove?

2. any chance there is going to be an easy way to remove one click lag fix?

wow, my first time posting on these forums and first time hacking a phone. You all made it way tooo easy, my gratitude and thx goes to all who made it happen. Im running at 2272. Sweet. again thx.....
