Lag issue fixed

What I should of said was.....if you were storing apps/app data on your previous device BEFORE you brought it over to your G4? There are many things that can cause corruptions but a big factor is quality. Which card where you using?

Yea I agree I never formatted it, always works in my other devices but who knows maybe something was wrong. The card is a few years old too (sandisk 64), and maybe the RW isn't up to snuff with the G4 and or the G4 is picky about clean cards with a specific RW. I'm buying a new one today the Sandisk extreme, 60mb RW, I would definitely think thats what this phone needs. Thank you for your help Groove

A friend was having huge issues with Motorola phone. I just heard "Android sucks Android sucks!" I was never allowed to take a look. She got rid of the phone and I got the micro SD to re-use as a thumb drive. Turned out the sd card was messed up. Writing to it took forever and had bad sectors / corrupt. It messed up the whole phone. But the phone did work...sort of.

Well I took out the sd and factory reset, and my issues were bad still.
I went to att and exchanged yesterday. I did not put an sd in and hand installed all apps (installed much fewer).
The phone was perfect and I have slowly now seem a bit of the lag. I also took the att update,so I can rule out sd issues. We will see if it works out,i have a trip next week and have until a week from Monday to return.
I am stuck, this is the only phone that works for me....and I'm a g2 and g3 guy. Think a good thought. I have disabled dual window.

...
So what I did was a hard reset from the power off-volume down option...
Good Luck!

I'm sorry to be stupid about this, but I'm moving from a Droid2 where you had to remove the battery to actually get the phone to reboot. Does the restart option on power down actually remove everything from memory (reboot)? Or do I still need to remove the battery?
And, is the "hard reset" mentioned above the same as removing the battery? Or is it a factory reset?
If it is the same as a "reboot" (removing the battery), then how do you do it with the Power/Volume keys? It would be easier than removing the battery every time. Thanks!

g4 lag issue

Ok so this may be just the way it is, but i surely hope not. I have the sprint variant of the g4 and even fresh out the box i get a little bit of keyboard lag and it lags when switching tabs in chrome and even the UI seems a bit sluggish. Does anyone else have this issue? I was gonna try and refrain from rooting this one but i will have to if this is the case
