I'm surprised I didn't find a topic on this yet. In my app drawer, I notice, just about every time when I'm looking for an app the screen lags really bad. It actually happens when I'm scrolling fast through back and forth. I can see once in a while, but it does it most of the time. I don't have anything running in the background that would cause this so I'm at a loss. Anyone else experience this?

Not at all. 0 lag and I haven't rebooted or stopped any background processes since I owned the phone

I'd probably correct that by "this happens to about" ANY phone - more pics, videos, apps, background processes - eventually it reflects in phone performance

Very snappy here, 000 lag! Actually quite amazing. Wondering if a reboot might clear up a stuck process or app?

Take it back and get a new one, something's wrong with your phone.

No lag at all. I've tried multiple times to see it. There was one review where the guy complained about the same thing. I'm not sure which one it was but I did see it and I tried to get it to lag when he complained about it too, no success.

I just tried and I can't make it lag. Not switching from apps back and forth quickly or leaving an app going to the app drawer and swiping screens back and forth.

What all have you installed? Did it do this since day one? I'm sure this phone will eventually lag with age, but nobody should be seeing it this soon.

I get lag only in the app draw scrolling sometimes. I go into app settings kill the launcher and then I'm good again. I am thinking it might be something I downloaded causing this. My ultra did the same thing as the maxx. It is not a big deal to me by any means though.

I was getting some lag in the app drawer with my Droid Maxx. What was really weird about it was it always happened when scrolling to the last page of apps right before widgets. It didn't lag on any other page. I couldn't figure out the problem so I just installed Nova Launcher and it hasn't lagged once since then.

This is exactly what I have experienced. My Maxx is the most lag-free phone I've ever used except when transitioning from the last page of apps to the first page of widgets, in which it really slows down. It's probably related to an app or even a widget in the drawer, but I don't think there's anything wrong with my phone. Just my observations.

Thanks for your replies everyone. It obviously wasn't a big deal because I forgot I posted this! The lag is still happening two weeks later. It's only when I go to the widget drawer. It's every time. I'm not going to worry about it because it doesn't affect my daily use. It's just one of those things that nag at you because you want a "perfect" phone. I was hoping more of you were experiencing it because that would mean there could be a fix, but it's probably something I downloaded. Now that I'm rooted, I'll try a factory reset since I can back up my phone and game data. Thanks again!
