Laggy V20?

Swiftkey and Gboard. Both are better than LG's keyboard

Both are great keyboards but I just wish SwiftKey had gif support like gboard does.

Well now you all have done it. I went ahead and slapped SwiftKey on here and it is way better than the LG keyboard

Edit to add - I am using the LG email app for my work email and I like it. And I am keeping the LG Messaging app since it has the Advanced Messaging features on T-Mobile

Swiftkey is my keyboard of choice.. has been for years.

Haha! Jeremiah, we have won! Mwahaha! SwiftKey for the win! Mike-Mike, just do know that RCS/Advanced Messaging only will work to it's full potential right now between you and anyone else with an Android phone on T-mobile. The carriers are trying to make it all "exclusive" and crap..

I haven't experienced any lag and I had it since launch day. Only certain times when I'm on a website or email and there's way too much text in a single text box. I'm not sure if it's the hardware or app. Other than that, I had no experiences with lag. I turned off all animations as well so everything loads faster.

IMO the stock LG keyboard on the V20 is laggy....
I've been using the Google keyboard, oops "Gboard" excuse me - lol - from day one, about an hour after using the stock keyboard....
Is Swiftkey that good? Are there any major advantages of using Swiftkey over Gboard?

More themes, better predictions, two word predictions, emoji predictions. The two things it isn't better for is it doesn't have Google search built in and it doesn't do gifs like gboard does.

Once in a great while the keyboard gets slow or freezes. No idea why

Well as you can read above, I switched and I love it.

Definitely more accurate typing and better auto correct and better word predictions
