Landscape lockscreen?

I was wondering if there is any way to set up an orientation dependent lockscreen? 99% of the time my lockscreen is in portrait. In fact it comes up in landscape so infrequently that it honestly seems like bug.
I am running a Nexus 7 (2013) rooted with TWRP recovery but no custom ROMs as of yet.

As long as rotation is enabled, the lockscreen should rotate as well. I haven't had any issues with this myself, perhaps wiping your nexus would fix it? Also rooted with TWRP recovery and stock rom.

I flashed JSS15J and suddenly my lockscreen is behaving normally. Not sure if that was the issue, but it's fixed so either way I'm good ;-)
