last few % of battery makes screen unusable...any fix?

the screen dims to pretty much unusable outside, while barely visible indoors...is there any way to force the brightness level during the last few % of battery power?

This is highly annoying to me as well. Would love to know if someone finds a fix.

Turn off Power Saver when it turns on.
