Latest software update killed camera?

I downloaded and installed a very small update to my unrooted Sprint S6 reg on 11/7 (52.08mb). The apparent fallout from this update:

- double-tap to camera is SLOW
- camera shutter to capture very very slow
- video cam gives "Server error" then "Warning Recording failed"
- switch to selfie mode turns to grey screen then flips after 10 seconds
- Home to open camera app gives black screen

NO GRINDING = NO HARDWARE ISSUE (for now)

Help please - short of a Master/Hard Reset.

Wipe app cache via application manager and wipe system cache via recovery would be the best starting points.
