Launchers

I've been flipping back between Nova Prime and Samsung Launcher.

I don't really use widgets anymore so I usually have one page, but I like the customization of Nova Launcher.

Nova used to be a must have back in the Galaxy note 3, 4 and 5 days. Not anymore though, now Samsung does everything I used to use Nova for

Nova will be the first download. I'm use to having 7 dock items on each page, and being able to scroll through them . I leave my screens pretty barren with maybe a widget here and there.

Going to be using lawnchair. Like now on my note 8, I use that and one UI a little bit.

I'm going to give the stock launcher a legit try this time, instead of using Nova Prime.

Of course, I said that when I got my Note 8, and had Nova on it by the end of the first day...

One UI is better than it had been... But I still go back to nova. Everything is set up and I can restore from backup.

Me too , try one ui every time I get a new phone , but always come back to nova, love having multiple docs , and vertical app drawer

Nova still does more. Plus I don't need to learn a new launcher. If I were ever to get a phone besides Samsung, nothing to learn, just put Nova on and off I go. Same for any Android phone.

Not one additional app for customization. I always keep my phone clean. One UI is much better and I don't even think of Nova anymore.

The Samsung Launcher with OneUI is actually pretty great. But there's just a bit more added customizability that I like, so I go with Nova Prime.

I'm going to try using the stock launcher because I mainly use Nova Prime for the Nova Google companion. I'm pretty sure I can do without it.

I'm sure it does more, no debate there, just that now Samsung does everything I need it to

I might have to give nova a try since it seems so many here swears by it but I will be putting it on my n8 once the n10 arrives and play around with it. I actually bought it using google rewards last year during one of the holiday sales they have but never used it. It was one of those "kept meaning to try".

The last phone I owned before the Max (which is what I have now) was the Samsung 8 Plus using the Touchwiz skin. I went with Nova because Touchwiz didn't play well with widgets....it shrunk the font size. Does One UI do the same?

You can change the font size in Nova.

I was kinda hooked on the pixel launcher. When the one ui came out I was originally against it. But I gave it s try. Turned out pretty good. Part of my job is to test connectivity. I was talked with testing the Microsoft launcher. I had previously, and didn't care for it. Too many restrictions. But I put on this week's version. Not bad. I still have it on my s10+. I'll start work the ui on the note though
