Hey so I am considering the 360 but wondered if it would be ok to wear while working out with the leather band? Has anyone who has one done so? Ive got the G Watch now and want to better track my fitness with a heart monitor and pedometer.

Just got back from a workout with it, grey leather band. Ummm as with any watch, sweat and water, will degrade that leather real soon. If anything it'll start accumulating dirt. I'm having this dilemma right now, because switching a band back and forth is going to be a pain in the ****.

If you're only working out a couple times a week, It might be fine (drying it out at night), if you're hitting the weights a few times a week. I could see it wearing soon.

Basically what they said. Get rubber bands.

You could try some leather waterproofing. Not sure how well it would work on this band but I've used it on boots and belts with no issue.

Even then your sweat has salt in it. Would deteriorate over time and make the leather look horrible. That's like trying to swim with shoes on. Some things you just don't do.

It's the salt that dries out the leather. Leather conditioner would help prevent that.
