Leather or "Metallized" Plastic?

I'm getting my G4 either tomorrow or Saturday and I just am stuck between the black leather or the plastic back. Any advice?

What carrier? Put each in your hand and go with what is best for you. You really can't go wrong either way.

Care to share why you're conflicted? Personally, I think that if you aren't 100% set on the plastic - if you don't feel that the plastic-backed G4 is the ONLY thing in the world that can make your life complete - but you get the plastic anyway, you'll probably end up regretting not going for the leather. Pardon the hyperbole.

Leather, even though finding cases for it is more difficult. It's quite nice without the case, and with the case it's the same.

I use leather when I'm on a date or any special occasion. Plastic back with UAG/Verus case on a normal day.

Yes....consider the ethical issues of leather, and the ethical issues of plastic, compare them, and come to a judgment.

For the back question - I have the ceramic back on my T-Mobile version. Could have had leather. I'll be getting a leather back soon. Likely black.
I didn't want one, but after reading the posts here praising the leather you guys wore me down! Leather for special occasions.

Cases right now are easier to find for the plastic back (the stitching keeps them from fitting the leather back properly). However, the leather is very nice and I'm using a case much less than I ever have as a result. I did buy a plastic back from korea via Amazon, so I swap that and use a Diztronic case if I want a bit more protection.

Go with the leather and buy a plastic back from Ebay or Amazon. I actually bought a plastic back from Ebay yesterday for $20. I have the black leather back.

Get the Plastic and buy the LG offer of Buy one get one free for the leather backs for $70 for 2. These or LG originals... The ones selling for $30 from other countries are branded by their own countries, if that matters.

Are you putting a case on it? If so, then it doesn't matter. If not, get the leather.
