Leave YouTube HQ as default

Each time I play YouTube videos it start playing on Normal quality which is horrible. I have to manually switch it to HQ everytime I play a video which is annoyin. is there a way to leave HQ as default?

Youtube > Menu Button > Settings > High Quality Video on Mobile

these settings do not exist for me...only have:

clear search history
filter video by time
terms of service

I have the same problems and settings too... It does get annoying.

You could install the Youtube HQ app. I think people have reported success... and it doesn't require rooting.

That setting is available on the Evo app, not the Epic.

Google "Evo YouTube apk" and you will find a version of the Evo app the you can manually install from the SD card and will allow you to have this setting. I installed on my Epic and works.
