LED Notification Light...sporatic?

Anyone else's LED notification light go dim then bright sporatically?
Certain times during the day when I get a text it's bright like my Note 5
then at night it's really dim.

When getting charged the red light is definitely dim.

Anyone else having this issue? I don't have auto brightness enabled and I'm running at high performance so everything should be fully lit and bright.

Same here, in terms of the edge lighting. The notification led is also very dim and small. The blue light isn't too bad, but the green one is really hard to see.

I'm forced to use the always on screen just to recognize notifications.

I just noticed this myself. On a regular charger (non quick charge), I'm seeing no LED indicator.

I just tested something - When the screen goes off on it's own, no LED. When I press the power button to turn off the screen, I get the red LED charge indicator.

Yep..I notice this lately too. I have the Light Manager app and it does seem to help a bit with certain notifications. It's fixed my red charging LED notification. Now it comes on consistently and bright whether via a car charger, wireless desktop charger, or just plugging it into the wall.

I've been on the Note since the 4 and never had this issue before.

Text notifications are still a bit sporatic.

I'm a little newer to the Samsung phones. I ask this question and another post.

I do notice the dimmer light sometimes, but has anyone noticed an issue with the colors being off?

I try selecting yellow and it's coming out as an orange. Is anyone else noticing the colors having an issue?

I have this issue on my note 4. When I have it charging sometimes the charging notification light is dim and sometimes it is bright. The normal blue light for notifications does not seem to ever be dim for me though.

At least for me, it's not dim, it just doesn't come on at all if it "goes to sleep". If I manually shut off the screen, it acts normal.

Regarding to this issue, I have talked to samsung live chat and they said that the possible cause of this weak or dimmer led notification light is by 3rd party app. In order to disable 3rd party apps, turn your phone into SAFE MODE. Simply by turning off the phone, turn it on again when the Samsung logo appears press and hold the volume down until when you see the homescreen. Try to check your LED notification light then you can see its brighter as it should be. Restart the phone to turn off the safemode. To determine which app affects the LED notification light, it would be best to uninstall applications one by one until the issue doesnt exist. Hope this help you

My AOD does this

I just noticed this with the AOD display as well, never experienced before the latest update. It just randomly flashes brights, or blinks. To the point, I think I'm getting a message or something.
