I have it set so that the LED should light up on all emails, notifications, SMS etc... So far, it hasn't blinked once...

Any suggestions?

Same here... WTF? I've been missing all my emails and calls while my phone is sitting at my desk here at work... Sure it vibrates (which that even sucks balls), but at least when I get back to my desk and I miss stuff, it's a PITA to keep hitting the power button to unlock, swipe and then go through all my Mail icons...

Man, before with my POS BBPearl I was getting notified too many times and double/triple emails, but shiet, at least I knew about it!

I went into the Programs/Settings/Sound & Display/Notification Flash. Everything is checked...

Thanks...

I'm pretty sure this phone doesn't have an LED. Are you talking about the red part up top? That's just the earpiece, with a red color to go with the style of the phone.

There is a amber/green led to the right of the red grill!

It is extremely small, located on the upper-right corner of the verizon logo (below the grill itself.) Plug it in to charge and the amber light will remain lit until it is fully charged, at which point it turns green.

What are the circular dots to the LEFT of the Verizon logo? They look like they would be LED lights, but have not flashed once... Any ideas?

FYI -- I am not talking about the light that shows when the batter is charging. I am looking for the notification light that blinks when you have a new email, sms etc...

Since I don't have one yet, I'd guess those are the proximity and light sensors.

Thats the same led, its dual color. If notifications are setup right it should light up greenishyellow. I've noticed on mine, it will flash when i get a notification, but it will stop blinking after 5 or 10 minutes even though I havn't checked on the notification.

oh ok. I think I was mistaking the proximity sensors as the LED notification lights. thanks for your input.

Will some of you guys see how long it takes for the green led to stob blinking after a notification. I have timed 3 of 4 this morning, and it is 5 minutes on the dot. Makes me wonder if it was designed this way on purpose...

There is no setting that allows you to set how long the thing will blink? What's the point of having that light if it stops blinking after 5 mins?

Was thinking the same thing, but would be an easy fix! Would be nice if it would beep once in a while also as a reminder. Mine seems to work as intended except I get no notification at all when receiving email from my local ISP (Cable Vision) POP3 or Yahoo! Anyone else run into the same problem?

The light is pretty useless, unless you are looking at it from the perfecr angle. If I lleave it on my desk, it's nearly impossible to see at most angles.

Mine works (for whatever reason) does anyone know of an App that will let you change the led colors? (Not sure if the phone is cabable of more than green/amber). I would like to customize the colors to specifice people's emails like I had in my blackberry bold.
Thanks

I have to agree. Mine blinks, but if I'm not looking at it straight on, I can't see it.

I agree with the point that the led notification should blink for more then 5 minutes. Since there is an option to turn the notifications off, it should blink until the item has been opened. Is there a way to change this? I know on the Droid, the notification will blink until opened.
