Legacy Unlimited vs Beyond Unlimited

Can anybody here tell the difference with the network speeds? I've had my unlimited line since 2008, but I'm thinking about grabbing the iPhone X...did the math and the price is actually a little lower on this plan, plus I get unlimited talk and text, as opposed to 700 mins and 500 texts. I probably use about 10-14 gigs a month, so I'm not sure if I will see much a difference.

There shouldn’t be a difference in speeds but the new plan has a 22gb soft cap that may kick in and throttle speeds if you’re in a heavily congested area. You’ll be fine with the amount of data you use but be aware that video streams at 480p on the standard unlimited and the Beyond unlimited is 720p. You will also be able to add 4K for $10 per month but I’d suggest avoiding this because even if your display is 4K there is literally no noticeable difference on such a small display.

I read somewhere that it was 720p for all data plans, but I still haven't seen any changes on my legacy plan. I figured that I was just lucky. The only thing I stream is youtube and social media videos. I don't really watch full movies (netflix) on my phone or anything like that.

I think on a phone, 420,720 will be fine.

I'm on the "legacy plan" through some doing I'm still under contract for 29.99 with a$20 discount. I have the old unlimited for 9.99 a month but am thinking about letting it go due to this crap.

I really don't see the benefits of the older plan anymore.

Seems like people are better off with XFinity Mobile then since there is no video throttling and tethering is allowed.

Why ? You could still get the iPhone x and keep the legacy UD plan
