Let's be honest here , who's trading in their X for s3?

I preordered the GS3 today. I will keep a close eye on the calender and if I am not happier with it I will keep the HOX and return the GS3. The main reason I am considering switching is that I HATE what HTC has done to the multitasking on this phone. It almost becomes task switching. Also, 2GB of RAM should really grease the wheels as far as future upgrades go (hopefully). I had the GNex before and the pentile display looked fine to my eyes so I am not concerned with that. The removable/bigger battery and expandable memory on the GS3 are just gravy.

A "cheap" feeling samsung phone is no more prone to shattering when hitting the ground as a HTC phone. So if the durability is the same, why would you want to lug around more weight? You know companies like Porsche charges you extra to take weight off their cars right?

When saying the phone feels solid I did not mean the weight. Every Samsung phone I have ever handled felt FLIMSY (aside for the metal battery cover on the captivate). My opinion, the SIII looks horrible due to the cheap looking glossy plastic.

Most people will put a case on it and no one will ever know....

The top right of my screen is starting to have that issue where it feels the screen is peeling off. I have to keep pushing the screen back down. Sucks...

Lol who are you telling? I read that on here that it was an issue. But man, I thought I had the issue weeks ago, but I was in denial. Well, I got the phone from Costco, so I have a total of 90 days to return. Come on S3....lol.

For me the One X is perfect. I don't need more space and the battery life is excellent even on LTE. The screen is amazing! Beats audio rocks and the phone is FAST. I'm good for a while. Am I the only one that actually likes Sense?

I do like sense also. It's the only android skin I can stand to look at.

I like sense , but I love Nova and Apex , anything that's not TouchWiz . I had a Vibrant and an S2 and was getting sick of that. Loved my sensation

I think the One X is as close to a perfect Android phone for me. I see the photos I take on the thing and I wonder if I am dreaming up what I see, it's amazing...

I switched from iPhone4 to HTC One X two weeks ago and I'm loving the phone. I was going to wait until i5 came out, but decided to pull the trigger earlier This is LIGHTYEARS ahead of my Android experience 4 years ago on the G1.

Hah, it'd better be lightyears better. Although to be honest I never got to play with a G1, my first Android was an ATRIX 4G (remember when AT&T refused to carry anything but iPhones? You have NO idea how PAINFUL that era was...).

I'm getting tired of hearing the SGS3 gives a few more hours juice than the HOX....

but the screen is very dull in comparison & with very low auto brightness settings

Why is nobody stating this when testing battery against the HOX?

You would need to nearly half the brightness level on the HOX to do a direct battery test.
