I just picked up the GS2 last week, so here is what I've got so far on the lock screen & home screen. Colors really pop on this phone!

Sorry for a double post but I'm new to Android and I just ordered the Samsung Galaxy S II Epic Touch 4G and I have a few basic questions.
1. How can I change the dock icons and icons I want to put on the home screens only? I found icons through Google that I want to use instead of the icons that come with the phone. What do I need in order to be able to change those?
2. How do I get rid of the black around the words on the icons on the home screens so it just shows an icon of my choice?

I'm so confused!
Any help is appreciated!

Go to your app drawer and press edit and select which apps you want to put down there. But be aware, it will change your apo drawer from alphabetical order to what was pre installed and downloaded.

I mean change the picture of the icons. I found this online [ICONS] Cold Fusion HD - (Revised Fusion HD) Updated 11FEB2012 - xda-developers and I want to use these pictures of icons instead of the standard epic/android pictures of icons that come on the phone. what do I need in order to change those and how do I do it? :-\

I might be wrong and maybe someone can correct me but I think you're gonna to have to use a different launcher to change the icons

I use go launcher which allows you to change the icon by long pressing on the icon you want to change

I'm sure adwlauncher ex does the same

But beware using a different launcher can have an effect on your battery life

I was using touchwiz and getting 14-18 hrs

Since I went to go launcher I'm getting 8-10 hrs a day

Which is ok for me

It's wp clock live wallpaper. It let's you use your own wallpaper and edit text location and color. Before the most recent epic touch update, the clock animated (slide, bounce, etc) as you swiped to each homescreen.
