More or less yes he has.Very nice. Has he recovered from his outdoor incident!?
I went for the pixel 6 pro because I wanted the zoom lens and the ultra wide bandSnerd! And, Kizzy got a new Pixel! Did you go 6 or 6 Pro? It's possible I'll trade in my S20 FE for a 6. It's just sitting in a drawer.
And it's a gorgeous one, too! Happy Pixel 6 Day!My first photo![]()
It isn't bad. Had a few blurry ones but mostly they are usable.Do you find the shutter speed good for the cat photos? I’ve got a Samsung s21 Ultra and it’s kind of a hair slow compared to my iPhone 12 mini. So sometimes when I think I’m capturing the cat making a cute face, the camera on the Samsung actually misses it. iPhone 12 mini rarely misses. I was wondering what a fellow cat lover’s experience is with that on this new Pixel.

Yes that’s definitely the normal result with cats!It isn't bad. Had a few blurry ones but mostly they are usable.
I will take some more and focus on it and let you know.Have you used previous Pixels, Samsungs, or iPhones and if so, could you tell us how the shutter speed compares in your experience? I know this is one of the biggest reasons I am leaving Samsung (and planning on the Pixel 6 currently). Shutter lag and shutter speed are awful on my Note10, making indoor shots of my kids quite difficult at times. Seems a pretty strong consensus that iPhones and Pixels have been better at this historically. Hoping the 6 has kept it up.

I definitely think some updates for sure to address some of the inconsistencies..I'm actually not as impressed as I thought I would be after using it for a day or two. Yeah it's better all round but Google's processing seems a bit too strong now in some situations. And I've copped lens flare a fair bit. A bit more than expected. Not a fan of touch to focus up close now either. Seems to blur out too much around the object i focused in on.
For the first time Google's software has to catch up with their hardware. This is an excellent problem to have and one I trust Google to improve over time.I'm actually not as impressed as I thought I would be after using it for a day or two. Yeah that was MKBHD who I don't always agree with but from the RAW sample he showed next to the regular image he has a very strong point. But again this is a great problem for Google to have. They will tune it up over time I'm sure.I can't remember the reviewer who hypothesized they haven't toned down the processing to adjust for the better systems, so it leads to things now looking over-processed. I won't pretend to know close to enough to know if that could be a thing, but sounded logical.
