We have seen the leaks of rumors since the announcement of the Galaxy Nexus on October 19. In addition to this, we have seen several different prices from Verizon. So, as the title implies, what do YOU think the price will finally be?

With both the RAZR and Rezound coming in at $299 I don't see this being any less than $299. As a possibility, if the end up releasing a 16GB version I could see VZW dropping the RAZR and Rezound to $199 and selling the 16gb for $249 (or $199) 32gb for $299.

If they have a pre orders online I see the price being $199.99 or even if not a pre order starting off online at $199.99 and then going up after a week or so. In store I think it will go for $299.99 from the start.

Not attempting to be a troll, and I know this is just for fun, but if VZW sees that a good majority of us think it WILL be $299 could we possibly jinx the $199?

Just a thought. I want it at $199.00.

Some marketing materials have the Nexus at $199. I don't think it's that unorthodox. I mean, maybe it is unorthodox that Verizon would do something like this, but perhaps Google/Samsung have made some kind of deal.

$299 seems to be their price point for 4G LTE phones, don't see why the GNex would be different.

I wouldn't rule out a holiday limited time promotion @ $199 though. Or better yet .01? like they just did on the Razr.:D

Replace "warhead" with "Verizon's 4G LTE Samsung Galaxy Nexus" and "Virtucon" with "Verizon Wireless".

I am paying full retail so what it cost on contract does not matter to me although I cannot see it being less than $299 since if they want the other devices to sell better it would not make sense to have this device 100 cheaper.

I said $299, but $249 is a possibility. The Thunderbolt was that price because of the delays and they felt they should do everyone a 'favor' by making it cheaper. They could do it with the Galaxy Nexus, too. One can hope.

The bolt also didn't have the specs the nexus did either.

Neither did the LG Revolution and Droid Charge, which came even later. Even if we didn't consider the Thunderbolt as high-end, Verizon did and treated it so.

Eh not really high end. You paid for lte and everyone knew that.

I dunno. I think $299 but the Nexus will not come with some things the other phones have. It will not have moto Zumocast or Samsung Kies which lets you connect to your pc over the air. It will not come with Motos event controller or whatever that thing is called even though you can get something similar from the market. It does not have beats headphones or sounds system. It will not come with an SD card even if you won't need it with 32G. You will have to install software so that it can be accessed by Macs. It will not have NFL football or those other apps.

So maybe Verizon is thinking that ordinary customers won't want to pay $299 for this phone when they can pay $299 for phones that can do all of these things out of the box.

Not a big deal for me, but I can see customers thinking this way.

Most likely the $199 is a mistake or was the price for one day if it was released on Black Friday.

The only thing is those ordinary customers have no idea what the apps are you talked about. Plus verizon devices never used Kies that is only for gsm.
