I'm still waiting. I ordered it around 500 am est on the day it came out and unfortunately it took over 24 hours for Verizon to confirm my info. Got a backorder date of 12/19 initially but it quickly got pushed to 12/30. If i wasn't getting it for half price I would have cancelled my order a long time ago. Seems like there are a lot of people in the same boat.

I ordered mine on 12/15 at 12:45PST. It took nearly 24 hours for account verification then became backordered for 12/19, 12/30 and finally changed to shipping on 12/21. The phone at last, delivered to my apartment today.

I can't wait to get home and play with it!

I got mine today as well. I ordered around 9am EST on the 15.

They messed up the activation and tried to tell me that I couldn't activate it today. I called Verizon myself and had it activated 20 minutes later.

It was a good deal and I didn't mind waiting given the price, but they're a pretty poorly run company, and I would rather not have to deal with them again.

It changed to shipped, and I got an e-mail letting me know that it had shipped.

Hopefully mine will turn up next week. If I thought I could get it close to their price, I'd just cancel it and move on but amazon and wirefly seem to be on backorder for at least a week.

A few days, $150 off in store price, plus $25 accesory credit, guess you have to decide if thats worth it to you. I'm happy I saved the money, thats enough to buy the case, extended battery, bluetooth headset, nicer ear phones, etc. Though i have to admit i spent too much time worrying, stressing, and checking on the status of it, and time is money too.

I have to agree with you. Waiting up to order at 330am EST, wasn't in my plans, but saving the extra money allows me to spend it on other things.

The only downside to Amazon is that you have to ship an item back and wait for a replacement - although those can be done simultaneously if the item is in stock (which it's not). Seems like there are plenty of these on physical store shelves. Probably worth the $150 though.

I'd been getting emails for weeks saying mine would ship on the 30th, but when I didn't get an email with any sort of update yesterday, I decided to check myself. Now the site says estimated availability is 01/12/2012

That's beat. If you look on their Facebook page you'll see that there are other people in the same boat. I find it hard to believe that they didn't know how many phones they were getting. They should have been upfront about the delays. Mine did end up shipping and I should have it on Tuesday. I'm happy that I save $150 but I'd thinl twice about ofrsering from them.

What? I really wonder where these stories leak from, these are myths. AMAZON sends you a replacement phone first and you have thirty days to send the old phone back. How do I know? Because I have done it, they shipped me the nexus first and I sent in my Razr 10 days later. I called them and asked for a replacement on the nexus because someone adviced me to exchange my phone becuase it was dropping data while my friend's nexus was holding it at work. So they even shipped me a replacement back already.

They said it is backordered but they ship them out as they get them, and I got mineshipped 2 days after they submitted an order for my replacement nexus.

Amazon has them listed as backordered, but they are getting these phone every week, otherwise mine would not have shipped a day after my replacement order was submitted. My original estimated date was 17th on January, and it shipped yesterday.
