As the title says, no negatives, just what you like, what works good. If something don't work right or something you don't like no need to post here, there are plenty of posts about the negatives and dislikes.

I'll start out, I actually like the. Finger print location, how it unlocks right from the AOD and absolutely love sliding down the notification bar with it.

Who cares if someone already listed your favorite features, this is the thread to brag about your S8, show it off, give good suggestions to others that they might know about. There's enough complaining, show us the love here.

I own the s8 phone.

Build quality.
Edges are imo just right. I.e. Not as pronounced as my s7 edge.
Very little accidental touches.
More ways to unlock.
Exynos Chip gives better overall optimisation and battery life. I'm in the Uk.
Infinity display is just gorgeous.
The curves of the phone.
Easier to hold as it's not as wide as my s7 edge.
Love the new home button.

Fast, beautiful. Didn't think I'd love the soft home button, but it's faster and more responsive than a physical button.

Faster than $#!+ , beautiful screen, edges, better key feedback tban the S7E and love the edge lighting for notifications.

Still getting used to the FP sensor but not totally against it.

I like having my big screen back and I love that the edges are similar to the note 7. I like having my iris scanner back as well. That was another feature I enjoyed on the n7.

I just bought the galaxy s 8 I came from the nexus 6 p with nougat 7.1.2 on it. One of the things that I disliked about the Nexus 6P in my opinion was the fact that although the build quality was solid, sturdy and Made out of aluminum It was also very opportune pick up off of a flat surface. And unfortunately I accidentally dropped the phone once on concrete because it was very wide and you couldn't one hand the phone as much as you want to.

Now , the galaxy s 8 I knew I wasn't going to buy the s 8 plus because I don't need that all of the screen I want to be able to one handed regards of the one handed mode that samsung thankfully built into touchwiz! Now again, from my 6 p, I was All ready used to the fingerprint scanner both for biometric authentication, and for the drop down notification bar.. Furthermore, I absolutely love the fact that The phone looks sexy, is extremely light, made out of gorilla glass five completely. The super amoled screen is so beautifully saturated with colors. It is so gorgeous to look at. Heres another tidbit about the phone that a lot of people take for granted, since both back and front of the phone are made with gorilla glass, You don't see the finger prints on the phone nearly as much as other phones. i'm anal about keeping my phone clean. I don't obsess about it constantly like a did on my old 6 p. Samsung pay realistically works better than android pay because of the magnetic technology built into it. Honestly, I really haven't played with the camera much but I love the fact that I have my google photos shortcut inside of the samsung camera app. And disabled most of the samsung bloatware on my phone already.

The battery life is absolutely phenomenal for it being a 3,000 mAh battery but the new snapdragon eight thirty five chip is so dam efficient than everything just worked beautifully!

This version of gorilla glass doesn't seem to get as greasy and dirty as other phones.

Really like the size of the screen, in a relatively small package.

Phone is very fast and stable.

The home button is very cool. I really like the FPS being where it is. The display is the best available and I love the edge lighting for notifications.

  • Iris recognition is cool. It's so fast.
  • Screen is awesome.
  • Security features are the best I've used - including the private browsing and secure folder.
  • Samsung Experience UI is a vast improvement to stock Android as far as I'm concerned (coming from Pixel XL).
  • Wireless charging.

I completely agree about the skin. It's so much better than plain Android. When you buy a high end phone you want it to look like a high end phone, not plain jane.

There's so much I absolutely love about this phone but most of all how smooth and fast it is. I keep pushing it and pushing it and it never skips a beat!!!:) not to mention all that pushing barely touches the battery in this thing. I have the black s8+

still learning android here (the note 7 was my first), so far i really like this phone. still being surprised every day by something new i learn. samsung pay works so much better than apple pay.

I have the S8 in Orchid Grey. I had the S7 previously. This phone feels so nice in my hand. I've had it just over a week and set up iris scanner, finger print sensor and face scanner. I use smart lock a lot so in the house it's unlocked, on the road, it's connected to my gear watch, so I am barely using any of the "security features". Love the battery life, love the smoothness adore the screen! Just stunning. Can't wait to take it on holiday to Jamaica! This phone is a keeper :)

The hardware(screen, camera, looks, materials) except for the useless bixby button. Thats about it.

Will return my s8+ tomorrow.Like very much battery and screen but to big....Swap with s8.

Finally software keys and rear FPS! Also, still one of the best displays on the market. :)

Faster and smooth as silk. No stutter or lag.
Onscreen navigation. Love the back button on the right.
Bright display. At 25%, I can use it in car. No pink or red tint.
More screen real estate and still pocketable.
More efficient battery, chipset and display.
Edge panels. Device maintenance is easily accessible.
Premium look and design. Glad to be rid of the plastic and faux metal.
USB-C instead of micro USB.
Wireless charging seems better than my GS7.
Bluetooth 5.0
Improved FFC and RFC.
