LG G Flex or Nexus 5?

I got the flex 3 days ago, N I'm starting to not like it. I originally went to get the nexus 5 but they didn't have it. My problems with the flex is the touch home button, which I don't like cause I hit it when typing. The second is when I'm using apps N the screen is still, it looks like it burns in.

Went to the sprint store today N they said that it was the screen transitioning. They also said that the nexus 5 does the same thing N they had a lot of complaints about it.

What are your guys opinions?

I've had the Flex for 2 weeks now, and I love it! The screen issue is just because of the fact that it is a P-OLED screen at 720 resolution.. I don't foresee an issue with permanent burn in, and I've gotten used to having my brightness up to 80% and that helps eliminate it.. I don't have any personal experience with the nexus 5, so I can't speak for their screen.. There is an option under Settings>Display>Front Touch Buttons that will allow you to choose apps where they are reduced to a tiny trigger which you can then adjust left to right on the screen, I found this to be an awesome option, especially while texting or playing WWF..

I suggest giving the Flex at least a few more days. Then if you still don't like the phone get the N5 or G2. Both have IPS LCD screens which won't have burn in issues.

Yes give it time. I got the flex a week and half ago and after 3 days was going to take it back. I was at the store where there happened to be a LG rep at and we talked for at least 30 min. Very knowledgeable and I changed my mind and kept my flex...
I'm glad I did. Not only do I have a beast of a battery but the screen is actually great and it's big but I got used to it. People always ask about it when they see it and say they have thought about getting it. My opinion is keep it at least one week. After that week if you still think you don't want it go to a store that has a Nexus 5 and use them side by side because you won't want to give up your LG and if you do then do it.

If you're on AT&T I'd be inclined to wait a little bit longer for the G Pro 2. However, that Flex is still quite the conversation piece.

G Pro 2 is the device I'd want of the two. Look slick and I like LG's lighter UI.

The are tons of launchers. It looks like a Fisher price toy. No SD either!

I have to agree with you there.. On my S3, it seemed like a half designed back, something just wasn't right.. I am loving the self healing back on this Flex, though.. 2 weeks in, and not a scratch on it! With this phone being as big as it is, I really would hate to put a case on it :/ but, I have my trusty Flygrip on there, so I feel pretty confident when I'm handling my phone

Give it a shot as I think you've really got a nice phone there. I was tempted to get one myself.

The G Pro 2 does look to be a really nice device. I'm sure my carrier, AT&T, will carry it and look forward to seeing it in person this Spring/Summer.
