Well, CNET's review of the G Pad is out:
LG G Pad 8.3 Review - Watch CNET's Video Review
It's pretty lame. As someone who owns a N7 2012, and was thinking of getting the N7 2013 (not anymore), I think she misses the mark entirely. I find it amazing how some of these reviews always compare the G Pad to the N7 2013 when it's primary competition is really the Note 8 which has poorer specs, aside from the nice stylus option, and costs the same if not more then the G Pad. It is also comparable to the new Ipad Mini retina which is still more expensive. The G Pad is not meant to be some crappy sub $200.00 8 inch Android tablet. There are plenty out there. I am interested in it because it specs out nicely against the N7 2013, plus it has additional hardware in the form of the IR remote, and most importantly, Micro SD. Is the $80.00 difference between the N7 2013 32gb model and the G Pad worth the "expensive" $349.00 price? In my mind, of course! It also specs out nicely against the Note 8 and Ipad Mini, its primary competition. Some of the commenters and reviewers on these other sites are ridiculous.
