LG G VISTA (D631) display keeps coming on by itself after timeout

[AC Question]

Just replaced the screen digitizer on my LG G VISTA (D631) and it works great. However, the screen will now come back on after timing out. If I lay it face down, then press the back button to turn off the screen, it will stay off. I thought maybe it was sensing something being touched to come on but the screen appears to be seated correctly. I also do not have the stay on option enabled like to detect eye movement. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
