LG G2 Battery gone?

Hey everyone! Ive been using my g2 d802 fairly normally (with some gaming: asphalt 8 and modern combat 4) and lately the battery is acting up... I understand that mc4 is quite intensive but using 15-16% battery per 10 minutes is a bit too much imo. Also, if i lock the phone with no background apps running, the battery percentage rises a bit. Further, if i drain the battery completely, it shows 'device will power off' and shuts down as it should, but if i switch it on again after say 20 minutes, it turns on properly, showing about 6-7% battery and if i then use it, the phone just dies abruptly. So does that mean my phone is begging for a new battery? Oh and btw im using the international version running 4.4.2 stock and rooted.
