First pic out of the box. Remembered the default setting was 10MP out of the box, and changed it to 13MP after. Any thoughts on this? Also, why no macro mode?

It's a matter of ratio preference, 4:3 vs. 16:9.

All pics were taken with the G2 other than the once with a slight purple tint or purple background(indoors) those are with the Lumia 920 because the g2 couldn't focus or produced terrible images .

Beautiful beautiful pictures and wedding.

Are the videos the G2 as well?

@artofdance the G2 had a horrible time trying to focus , I just gave up and used my Lumia 920 for the reception. My G2 was just so poor in those lighting conditions. The camera couldn't focus and when people were dancing it would focus then drop focus then refocus, horrible horrible horrible. The new windows phone update needs to happen soon so I can go back to using that because this g2 just doesnt have the camera I need.

But in this kind of situation with lot of difference in lighting (light clouds vs dark parking) you should use HDR

Had to use sports mode to get the water to show up clearly. But yeah, normally hdr would be better.

Except sometimes you want the viewer's attention drawn to one area (the water spots) and by bringing out the detail in the trees with HDR, you might lose some of that attention. It depends on what you want to emphasize in the shot.

Night mode was much better since it didn't try to lighten the dark skies. Looks much more dramatic and how you'd expect a night scene to look.
