LG G2 Headphone Jack questions. (Verizon)

I've been on several other forums and I know that this is a common problem. I heard rumors of LG replacing it directly rather than going to Verizon and having to go through them. Is this true? It's been a couple of months now, and I can't listen to music. Is my warranty void if I cleaned my Jack out with some solution and a q-tip? Also, if I do get it replaced, will it be free?
 
Just push the tip in harder than you think you have to. It will "snap" in. Problem solved. Male piece will be flush to the phone.
