LG G2: Post KitKat Issues

I got it a few days ago. Was figuring out what's wrong with the Knock On. Found out finally that you have to knock in the center of the screen for it to function successfully most of the times unlike earlier when we had to tap right on top of LG icon.
Performance seems enhanced.
Mine is a Singapore version G2-802. I had to enable LTE from the hidden menu earlier. But now they have brought it to the forefront with this update.
G2 kit Kat has also brought about one major option whose absence in 4.2.2 was baffling. The option to move multiple files across from the gallery.

My knock on issues seems to be improving, and as a note, my GPS locks a lot faster now with Kit Kat

Hi guys. I had an unlocked LG G2 bought from Saudi Arabia and I am running it on the A1 network here in Austria. I just got the update today going from D80210e-AME-XX to D8022a-AME-XX. Everything seems fine except for my mobile network data. Whatever I do, it doesn't seem to pick up on 3G or any other mobile data. I have tried soft and hard resets, nothing.

Any help is much appreciated. I need network data for my everyday living

Well... I have to roll back to JB after every ROM I have tested, because SMS is broken for me.

Just use the Google hangouts app instead. It's much better anyway lol.

Hi guys. I'm in the UK and have recently updated my G2 to Android 4.4.2. Everythings fine except I cannot access any 3G network. My only chance of internet access is over Wifi. Has anyone found this issue and can anyone recommend a solution?

Battery drains faster. I had 2d17h average with 4.2.2, now 2d only. I noticed that bluetooth is consuming 4% power even if it's never been on

After updating all is fine battery was worse at first but has improved again. One odd thing I am finding is the G2 now seems to be using more RAM. There seems to be many features running in RAM like Slide Aside I have it turned off yet it's showing as running. It comes back on after stopping it.

I charged my g2 over night then shut it off completely and rebooted. Now battery life seems as good as before. 38% in 1d4h right now

not really dead for me but really compromised. Need to tap it hard like 6-8 times. Now it is easier to press the rear button, than tapping like a fiend

My friend, I kock on that screen as it was Heaven Door. Knock on is full blast dead on my G2. The good of Kit Kat: super battery power, faster internet use, transparent notification bar. The good of 2014; LG G3.

I don't think the Google Play issue is exclusive to KitKat. I have had that problem with the G2 since the day I got it. LG will not even acknowledge that there is an issue with it.

Here are things that I have noticed that cause the G2 to error out while playing music with Google Play (cached music does the exact same thing)
*note, these are my observations, I don't have any type of computer science degree, and don't know a lot about code...so, I'm sorry if they aren't highly technical.
1. it will error out stream when network switches from LTE to HSPA
2. it seems to error out whenever an app needs to fetch data in the background
3. certain songs are completely unplayable, which could be an issue with Google, but who knows

and yes, cached music does the exact same thing.

I put a S3, S4 and HTC desire HD all next to each other, all on same network. The G2 was the only one that could not stream the music effortlessly.

I've only had the G2 on O2 UK for a couple of days, but upgraded to Kit Kat yesterday.
I have since noticed that the Aspect Ratio Correction option within Display Settings has been removed.
I now get the "Can't Play Video" error when trying to play certain video types in Google +

Not a great upgrade feature

KitKat has brought me some issues.
First: Google Music randomly tells me it cannot access the stream.
...
I did a factory reset right after the update, and I would hate to do it again.
Is anyone else having these issues?

I have the exact problem whether a download music file, a local mph, or a stream over data/WiFi.

I also have done the factory reset and the issue persists.
