LG G2 .... reboot required ?

Hi all,

As you know, I have been loving my LG G2 after a bad week with the Nexus 5.

One thing I have noticed recently where the wifi stops working. It connects ok but i see a popup saying "SSID unable to access the internet".

with the SSID = my home wifi.

The only fix seems to be to restart the phone.

Has anyone else experienced similar kind of networking issues?

The closest I've come has been when some Internet apps have stopped responding and I've had to close and re - open them.

How often does it do this? I have yet to have an Android phone that doesn't need to be rebooted once every 48 hours or so. It's the nature of the beast.

Is there any type of service that auto enables/disables the WiFi on the phone? I have not experienced any type of WiFi issues with the phone as of yet.

Happened to me this morning because my cable internet was actually out for some time. If you are still connected to your wireless router when you receive this message then you need to check and see if some other wireless device, such as a PC, is able to get out to the internet through the same router. If not, then the message is accurate. If the PC can access the internet then what appears to be happening is that you are actually losing connection to your router and you may need a firmware update for the router as this is what many people have had to do to get their G2 to connect properly and consistently.
