Lg G2 with Hangouts Won't recieve MMS

[AC Question]

Hi I have a new, a month or two old, LG G2 and for some reason it will not download mms. I am on a strong wifi, and have service. I have tried turning on and off the wifi, the service, I have reset the access point, signed out of my google account and reset the phone and it still says that it is downloading and the downloading fails. What should I do? I would like to not factory reset my device.

Welcome to Android Central! Have you spoken with your wireless provider yet? It might be a network issue.

I haven't spoken with my carrier. I have verizon I will talk with them. Is there any other solution?

It's the first place to start. If they have no solution for you, then we could try digging a little deeper, although that's getting beyond my scope of knowledge.
