There's reports coming out that the international version of the G3 will start receiving the Marshmallow update starting March 14th. Verizon has reportedly released the Marshmallow update for the G3 at the same time as the G4 update sometime last month. I've been waiting for this update since I heard it was coming sometime last year. I'm not holding my breath. It's a cat and mouse waiting game at this point for when the damn carriers decide it's "ready" to be released.

So this is what I've got from Sprint in February. Looks like they don't know.

T-Mobile states it is in Manufacturer Development stage. They have confirmed that it is coming. However, hopes of getting Marshmallow on the G3 with T-Mobile look slim to none. They have released it for the G4 and V10. G5 also comes loaded with 6.0. I check the LG PC Suite every so often for an update, I, however, lost all hope of an update for the phone to come out by then end of the year. If ever.

They have been pretty much in manufacturer development since December last year and have not release it. At this point to be honest. I do not care if they push the update or not. I read that marshmallow kill more quickly the battery than Lollipop in the G4. In the G3 don't know yet if that's the case as well.

I'm getting a bit further on a charge since Marshmallow upgrade on my G3. Not stellar by 6p or Note measure, but definitely further than what I got on Lollipop.

Nice to see that, well hopefully T-Mobile release it this year, if they didn't forgot about it.

How many other devices do they have to worry about upgrading? I didn't think they had that many to take care of.

Pop into Google Play Store if you want to know how many are 3rd party; I'm at 73 for all installed apps that didn't come with Android - but that includes the Verizon bloatware plus the pro version of several apps like Aquamail, Nova Prime, and SD Maid as well as a couple others. I upgraded yesterday with the March 1st patch and total apps upgraded was 268. :O

I got this update today. I have the LG G3 with Lollipop 5.0.1 on AT&T. The file size suggests this could be the Marshmallow update we've been waiting on. Anyone else in the US got this update yet?
