Some of the best entertainment I get in these forums comes from people getting all hot and bothered about a post like this that could easily be ignored or resolved with a simple "Have fun with your next phone and don't let the door hitcha where the good lord splitcha."

Made sense OP...Thanks for the heads up, there's no way I'll buy the G3.

Coz i already have one.

And at the end of the day we are all different in how we handle things.
And I think you are missing my point.
To suggest that a person does not own the phone because he commented on his negative experience is absurd.
Get it?

I'm sure the post about him not having the G3 was dead serious. You need to lighten up a bit. Not every comment needs a serious discussion.

That's funny... Hopefully you see the irony here.
Thanks for the "serious" advice... LOL

I had the G2. Good enough battery life, then kit Kat killed it. 2 Factory Resets (2nd turning off backup/restore my phone), and new SIM card. Replacement seemed to be better. Daughter's phone is in horrible shape, so she said she would like my G2, if I were to upgrade. I got the G3, and I too am unhappy with the battery life, and have experienced the touchy screen, starting apps when I barely touch the icon (thought it was just me). I have done a factory reset on the phone already to see if that would cure battery life. Did not get better. Left house, 92%, car charged it up to 100%. Got to bar at 7:15, left at 11:30. Granted, I was on the phone reading news, playing WordFeud, reading Android Central. No video or music. I did download Soundhound. I had some conversations. Went down to under 15% when I left at 11:30. Drive in car 45 minutes home, and I am now plugged in by my bed at 25%, estimated time to charge 3 hours, 19mins. My G2 would be done on 1.5 hours (it seemed). Screen is off auto, been keeping it at 40%; turned it down to 30% while in the bar. Battery reports the screen was on for 4 hours, 18 minutes, was the primary use of my battery at 53; Android System is 15%. which sounds about right. I was on Wi-Fi at bar.I keep Bluetooth on, as well as location. Horrible for 3000 mAh battery, in my opinion. And careful with responses; I loved the Droid Eris when I had it, and an very use to dealing with the peculiarities off Android O/S on several manufacturers phone. My Samsung Fascinate had great battery life; until upgrade to Gingerbread killed that great battery life.

One post from OP and it's a diss in the LG G3 forum - TROLL!
Haven't had any of the issues he describes.
I'm 11.5 hours after disconnecting from the charger this morning and I still have 54% battery left.
Playing games off and on most fo the day. Streamed about 1 hour via the TNT app.

Whatever, I just figure he's a troll.

No problems here. It charges pretty quickly and the only time it's ever gotten warm is when I was in an area with poor signal and it had to struggle to keep the crappy 3G that was available. It is certainly NOT junk. You either got a lemon or it's user error (installed an app that's not playing nice, rooted and used a not so good ROM, etc)

There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with battery life, in fact it's pretty amazing. I am at 66% right now at 14hrs in, which included, Facebook, web browsing, texting, a couple phone calls, etc. The screen is flawless too. Do you have a screen protector on it? Take it off, that's probably the problem.

I do agree, it's a rubbish phone, I do owned 2 LG G3 phones (wife and I) with a same problems. When the phone goes to sleep from time to time it does not wake up "you have to take the battery off/on to restart it, what a drag?). I called the unfriendly LG customer support to report the problem we are having unfortunately nothing has been done.
I am wondering if anyone here is having the same problem? Honestly We do like the phones just the problem we are having are letting us down.
Please help?

I'm not having those problems so actually don't know what you could do..

OK.... I understand you have some issues... which colors your opinion of the phone, obviously.. but the problem that many here have (including yours truly) is when people assume that because they had an issue, everyone has the issue and the phone blows. Fact is that the every phone on the market has its own set of issues that their some, not all, users run into. Banding on the screen, messed up hardware defects that cause failures, etc...

But the majority of the users haven't had issues. My screen isn't too dark or washed out, it doesn't overheat, it doesn't lag or jump around, apps don't crash, camera doesn't close, it never fails to come out of deep sleep nor does the battery drain for some unknown reason. The phone has been a rock solid, reliable and speedy and enjoyable bit of kit for me since the day that I bought it. So if you are going to base the overall quality of the phone on your own experience in the way that you do, if I took the same approach from just my experience, I'd say you're a lunatic who doesn't know what you are talking about because my phone has been perfect. Now... that wouldn't be fair of course, since I know that things happen and people get defective units.....

If everyone would stop replying, the thread will fall to the wayside.
Let's give that a try. Thanks.

I wish there were an ignore thread flag so that these troll threads stopped floating up to the top of my feed.

What does a screen protector have to do with anything?

...he complained, as he promptly brought the thread right back to the top

I'm glad to see people here on Android Central are just as touchy and sensitive as the Crackberry folks. I used to think it was just a BlackBerry thing :P

Thanks for making my day. A tad more need for self validation here I think.Lol

All in good fun of course.
