LG G3 on ART

My phone is not allowing me to switch to ART. When i try to switch is just reboots and is still on dalvik. I tried clearing my dalvik cache and some other stuff but it didnt work. I might just have to factory reset in order too. Also, for about a month and a half i have been getting the error message "com.google.process.gapps has stopped" every time i boot up my phone, will this have anything to do with me not being able to switch to ART?

My G3 is working flawlessly with Dalvik; I have no interest is messing with Art and getting unintended consequences for possible minimal gains in battery life / UI.

So far the only changes I've found useful are keeping the screen on when I'm look at it and answering the phone by putting it up to my ear.

I switched to art. Once I switched, the phone would lock up with a dark screen and get very hot. I would have to hold volume down and reboot. I even cleared the cache and it didn't help. Seemed random on when it would freeze on a dark screen but it was very frequent so I switched back. I have a white Verizon g3 stock.

I switched to art today and it was working great but I did find a weird issue, on art I can no longer cast my screen to my chromecast. It won't connect at all to my chromecast and a message comes up telling me that Google play services has stopped. When I switched back to dalvik, it works. Anyone else have any issues?
