Cajun Steak & Onions at Applebee's yesterday, 7/19

This was my first pic with the new G3, upgraded from a Galaxy S4 yesterday. Gotta say I'm diggin' it, display is better (to my old eyes) and much faster than the S4. Looking forward to snaggin' some cool pics with this thing.

Peace.

I clicked this today.... The picture is very crisp but I felt the Orange looks a little red in colour reproduction

It's orange on the screen of my Flex, the taillight being clearly red in contrast.

A bit washed out brightness...

Had my monthly VW car club GTG tonight.

Sent from the future on my Sprint LG G3.

Good chance to try a panorama haha. Thanks.

A very nice macro demonstration. Thanks.

For someone coming from a Lumia 925 , I'm disappointed. It's about the same quality in daylight and poor quality in the dark. Blah, shoulda lowered expectations. Only works well if you know what you're doing, not for quick snaps.

Use Dropbox or Flickr or something, none of your images showed up. Also you were using a Lumia, most of them have decent cameras I thought.

Ill upload via photonic, how's that? And the Lumia out I'd decent but not even the second or third runner up in Lumia cameras.

Mine no edits just point and fire

Took a few point and shoot shots this morning. Definitely better outside in the sunlight but overall an improvement from my previous phone. I really wish I could make it look less smoothed over in lower light/indoor shots.

None of these are edited.

Great in daylight, blows out pure colors, better than an S5 in darkness but there are other options for low light...yeah about what I've been coming to expect. Not in any way a bad camera but not tons better than G2 and fewer manual controls.

I like the camera - takes pictures quick (less so with the flash on), and I *really* like holding the shutter down and taking multiple pics (without immediately having to pick the "best" on like on the S5), but I really miss manual controls--ISO, brightness, modes like sport/night, etc. I'll see if it handles different modes just on auto.

Is there a camera app that will give me manual controls?

People are saying that Google Camera works, and there are plenty of others that should too. You will want one of those others for better manual control I think. Flash pictures take longer because it measures the scene color value several times to help prevent flash from generating a nightmarish scene. I feel your pain, my LG phone has manual focus and ISO overrides. I should get around to installing one of the camera apps I tried on my tablet.
