LG G3 Stock Text Message App Deletes all messages after 2 Weeks

I recently purchased a new LG G3. The stock message app deletes all messages after two weeks. I have gone to settings and increased the number of messages before deleting from 200 to 500 to 5000. It changed nothing. There is no mention of time-based message limit control. How do I turn the 2-week message delete control off?

Check out smart cleaning in your system settings. Otherwise, check to see if you'd have an auto cleaning app installed.
