LG G3: Verizon

Nothing has changed. They added brush look to camera ring. And it looks like wireless charging is included.

The brushed color/finish seems different and there are now the brushed silver highlights. I think the original form look much better. I don't know why they feel that have to change these things.

It just looks like they are using the black color, that LG has shown before during the launch of the phone. Finish on the back cover looks to be the same. What i can't make out is why the borders seem to be a different color (greyish-white) than the body. I don't know if that's intentional or a bad rendering (they could have just taken the white model and filled it in with black color in photoshop).

One is for a slightly larger back. And vzw is the only carrier supporting qi standard. That's why the other carrier don't have it. Read the phonearena commit on these picture. FYI this actually looks better then the other models with chrome trim.

It is difficult to see from the renders leaked by @evleaks, but there appears to be a small dimensional difference on the back plate of the Verizon G3 compared to the other carriers.* It may reflect native*wireless charging, of which Verizon and LG back the Qi standard while AT&T is backing the PMA standard.* We will see how that all shakes out following release.
The color / finish is clearly different. Would be cool if wireless was included not sure what makes you think it is from that pic

Wouldn't put much faith in that report. Looks like a spread sheet made up. There is no 2tb SD cards ??????

it means "upto 2TB SD cards". Of course there are none out now, but the slot supports the capacity.

We can hope. That would be a nice perk, and I kind of like the look of the Verizon Version better than the others now. (aside from their front logo that is)

It would be great if it were the 3/32 and wireless charging included like it was on the G2 (only carrier to have Qi on the G2).

I was at Costco earlier today and stopped by the mobile phone section; the salesguy there said the G3 is in the system and it will be released on the 17th for Verizon; with pre-orders on the 10th. No word on pricing though but he did say the only version he saw in the system was the 3gb/32gb model.

Lol Verizon continuing to mess up LG's phones.

honestly it doesn't look that bad; if you don't like the black color, get white instead. I still think White is the color to go with on this phone anyways. If the Verizon one comes with Qi wireless charging, that's another bonus.

People need to get over the whole "Verizon is Messing up our phones again" other than the note 2 and the button everything is fine.

I'm seriously considering the vz G3, but the only downside is the continuous onslaught of comments about the logo. It's hard to stay for more than 5 minutes in the G3 forum.

I wonder if those same people who complain about the Verizon logo remove the badges from the cars and tape over branding on their other electronics like TV's.

made me laugh...

I don't do any of those and don't care about the Verizon logos, but I think Verizon had a negative effect on both the G2 and G3. At least with the G3 it appears to only be cosmetic. Changing the rear buttons on the G2 was a bad idea. I don't care for the silver highlights they put on the G3. IMHO.

I would hope the button change was because of wireless charging. And not because they thought it would be better
