LG G4: Are you getting one?

I have a nexus 10 with lollipop 5.11 so I know vanilla android. Lg did a very decent job with the interface on the g3. All I need to do is turn off some "features" and it's nearly perfect. I expect no less from the g4.

Not the vanilla Android more the subtle add one moto gives it. Active display, and those slight moto features are so amazing.

I am 99% sure I'm getting one. Camera is finally a player and I have always loved the screen to body ratio and I agree with LG that a 5.5 inch screen is ideal.

Just got my Verus case yesterday. I picked one up from their flash sale just in case Verizon doesn't offer the leather back. I really, really want the brown leather.

I think the brown leather is T-Mobile exclusive.

I have read that too but I'm sure someone with T-Mobile will want a different one. Or hopefully they will be available from LG directly.

They could have the brown leather, personally I think that color looks like a saddle for a horse. Lol. If we get the Black or any color leather back on Verizon I'm partial because I'm going to buy a case for mine anyways. Need a protection lip and full body protection to keep the phone looking good.

It will be interesting to see how the carriers handle the leather colors. Hopefully they have some sample units to look at in the stores. I'm going to have to see the G4 before I decide. I wish we knew what the motox 15 was going to look like. I have to admit that I'm getting somewhat interested in some of these new "zero bezel" models that have been leaking like the Sony story today. I wish LG had done something cool like that with the G4.

if the rumored price tag is $600+ im out. not into financing devices that cost that much considering i switch devices too often. ill wait for the next nexus or the rumored moto g 3rd gen.

I can't imagine it costing anything less. I think the nexus, at least I hope, will be priced around $500 and I'm definitely excited about the X 3td Gen

I have little confidence that extra - or even replacement - leather backs will be available. Everyone has suggested this as an option - everyone but LG. Their silence on this makes me doubt the whole notion. I suspect that the process and the cost will be prohibitive enough that we won't see this actually happening. I'd love to be proven wrong, though.

Well, with the G2 or was well known in advance that different carriers had different backs, it wasn't that way with the G3, so I'm assuming you're correct about the G4. I'm sure t-mobile would be happy to sell you a back fit whatever carrier you're on.

+1 Had the LG G3 and loved it. Miss the IR and camera. Next was a great ride tho. Just need to go smaller now.
