LG G4: Are you getting one?

Most definitely, even Samsung Galaxy S6 users are looking in this direction for the phone. That's saying alot just with that.

I really wish some details on the next Nexus will leak so I can decide if I want to get this or hold off for the new Nexus line. I'm ready to trade my Nexus 5 for something new and with this device, willing to give up vanilla Android. Decisions decisions.

I've never had a MicroSD card fail on me, or cause problems with any device. I've still got the original MicroSD that came with my wife's Sammy G3 and it still works fine. I've been using a 128GB MicroSD for over a year now in a Surface at first, then moved it to a MacBook Pro. No issues. Runs great.

I agree... It's all about maximizing profits and nothing more than a money grab.

As smartphone cameras become better like the g4 being able to store large. dng files on removable SD cards is going to be a very important aspect. This won't stop the oems and from pushing their own cloud agenda since many people love to use them, but there will always be those of us who prefer to store our stuff on a SD card where we can use it when we want to. Music Movies Maps Photos are serious space hogs and since this phone is capable of using a 2TB one we just need the card makers to start making them faster and larger..

Five weeks, June 19 until we get it up here.

If the leather isn't available I'm going to wait it out.

I was going to until LG released information that they're releasing a higher end smart phone in the 2nd half of this year. Why would they do that?! Guess I'll wait it out.

I missed they one, what device is that?

Nexus 6 Assassin Edition. Android Central Moderator.

Or what LG, hTc and Samsung have been doing where they release a "Plus" edition exclusive for the Asian market?

I just posted in the S6 edge that Samsung is releasing a new edge this summer.

if I recall, the last 2 years we started to hear reputable rumors around August. The ones floating around now should be taken with a grain of salt, but I've read an LG 5.2" Nexus is in the works. LG did say that they're "considering" it so we'll see. Other than that, the other rumors I've heard haven't been backed with any concrete evidence. If you have a Nexus 5 and are looking to move on, the G4 is as good a device your gonna find in 2015. I'm waiting for the Nexus, Note and Moto before making a decision, but I'm in no rush to upgrade and don't mind saving a few bucks in the meantime. If the X sticks with near stock (I prefer its UX to vanilla) and for with the rumored 3280 battery I'll jump on it, so long as the camera is decent. I'm in need of 2 phones so not in a rush to drop $1500 and really anxious to see what direction Samsung takes with the Note. Is be happy to come out of 2015 with the Note 5 and either a 5" Nexus or Moto X ... that would last me 3 years easy.

Yeah that's how I feel. Sense to me is the smoothest and fastest UI on an android phone.

I dont know if LG's UI will be as fast as that, but if it's close, I'll be happy. A
Just as long as it's faster than Touchwiz on the S6.

I'd include the Moto X ... IMO it has the best UX out there.

Just use the messenger app. Better design, quick reply from notifications and great material design.

Posted on my Moto X that is prob being charged as we speak...

Angry SK: when's that Moto X gonna be replaced? I've been reading that charge quote for awhile now! lol

I'm not gonna get my hopes up after being let down by evleaks M9 render and the rumored 3500 battery in the G4, but I read from what seemed like a decent source, that the X 3rd gen will have a 3280 battery. I'd jump all over it if that's true.

I have a nexus 10 with lollipop 5.11 so I know vanilla android. Lg did a very decent job with the interface on the g3. All I need to do is turn off some "features" and it's nearly perfect. I expect no less from the g4.

if the rumored price tag is $600+ im out. not into financing devices that cost that much considering i switch devices too often. ill wait for the next nexus or the rumored moto g 3rd gen.

I agree 600 bucks is pricey but the moto x was about 550 if you got 32 gigs. And the N6 was def more than that. Not saying you shouldn't do what you want but just saying 600 isn't that bad.
