LG G4 Audio Recording Quality, especially in louder venues

Hi everyone, I have been looking around for definitive answer to this question: How is the audio recording quality of the G4? In the past, I have had a LG Optimus G and it took some of the worst audio recording I have ever experienced at parties or louder venues like concerts, which is a problem I never how on previous droid phones or my old iphone 3G. The Optimus G would just record a garbled incoherent mess. Also, the call quality wasn't great either. How are these things on your G4? This is the only thing holding me back from getting one right now while it is still on sale at AT&T so I need to make a decision ASAP.

Also, any overheating issues or constantly force-dimming the screen on you when charging or navigating in order to cool the phone? This was also an issue constantly on my Optimus G.

Thanks everyone!

Thanks

ANyone else care to weight in? How does it compare to the Optimus G microphone or the S6? Any other android phones out there that have good mics that are in the same league?

The lg g2 suffered from horrible noise cancellation, making everything sound as if shot in a cave or even underwater. The G3 improved this a great deal, but didn't completely eliminate the problem. The G4 has, but the audio is still not the best around. So if video sound is important, I'd look at other devices than anything fro LG

I had the HTC One M7 and M8 before the G4 and both of those mics were great for loud audio. The problem was the horrible camera. I'm gonna venture a guess and say the M9 should have good mics also, but I'm not so sure about the rest of the phone.

On the G4, it's the opposite. OIS means stable video even if you're digitally zoomed in but that audio was a big problem for me.

I'll chime in on Saturday after I go to the Def Leppard concert!

Not good at all. I asked a while back if anyone had any extetnal mic experience. We went to taylor Swift a week or two ago, and having nothing to do, my wife put me on video duty. The picture was great but the sound cam across like someone's had was being placed over the speaker and removed off and on during all the videos (and no mic blocking was taking place)

As somebody already wrote good mic's you can find in HTC m7 cause they used Nokias haac microphones ( no longer can cause they lost patent trial with Nokia ). For best audio recording you should change system and buy Lumia 930 or 1520, eventually 830.
