LG G4 Boot loop, Customer Service won't help

I have a LG G4 my mom's gift to me last November 2015. Just last night it got stuck in boot loop. This morning I called LG customer service here at USA and they told me they couldn't do anything about it because it is an international unlocked phone and they only fix those with carriers. My mom got the phone here at USA but she couldn't remember what online shop regardless of that it was brand new when she bought it. I have the LG-H815, S/N 508.

You could try calling around to local repair shops to see if they can fix it, since LG acknowledged the problem as being a loose contact between a couple of components: LG admits G4 bootloop problem is a hardware fault, will repair affected devices - Android Authority

Hey hi, if I bring my phone to a local repair shop could they have access to my internal storage? I only have a simple pin on it. And I don't feel safe exposing my data on it

I suppose that's possible. I would guess that even if they had the inclination, the technicians in most reputable places wouldn't have any time to try hacking into your phone and stealing your data. The other option would be to pay LG to fix it, but your concerns would probably still remain.

I believe that the cost of a new motherboard is more than the cost of the phone. Your best bet is to track down the reseller. If she used a credit card and you know the month it should be easy enough.
