I just prefer not to use them and never have cracked or chipped a screen (knock on wood)......but with no case,I just need to. Its fine,just a smudge magnet.

I haven't used a glass screen protector yet. My brother has one on his iPhone though.

Well case makers will be very happy at duping many into believing its "military drop tested"
Sorry but that is just as bad as Gorilla Glass teeheee which we know breaks easily but named after a tough primate.
Marketing at its best and many having that homer moment doh
But i bought the sell to doh
I am not arguing or throwing up disputes many like cases that's great.
Just amused at marketing and the belief.
3 military drop tested cases 1 i used two were friends and smashhhhh shattered screens.
1 my nexus 5, friends S5 & an iphone if i remember rightly.
Of course this is as per my OP my personal opinion & i am not debating anything

Having shattered a screen with a 2 or 3 foot drop to concrete, I'm paranoid. I don't think a screen protector is going to prevent that, though, as the drop in question hit the phone right on a corner and a screen protector would not help with that. I think. Maybe. I don't know
On the plus side, though, it would cost maybe a couple hundred $ to get a screen fixed, and that's not really that much in the long run.

Well,I'm doing square trade and have a $75 deductible. My g2 and g3 were geek squad protected but there gone to a 149 deductible.

Yoiks... my carrier has a $250 deductible (costs me $10/month) and Square Trade be any use to me in Canada unless I buy my phone through eBay. If I go through Costco ( Mobile Protection Plans - Costco Mobility ), I can get that down to $50.

Naked phone for me so far. Went with the ceramic white specifically because I've never had anything other than plain jane black or gray phones. I baby my phones anyways, I did use a magpul case on my S4 toward the end of my time with it but it was really just to give it a new look and for normal wear more than drops.

Just for Aesthetics....
OK so I don't do cases buuuut as the leather backs are a bit pricey at the moment I may opt for this.....
Strictly for Aesthetics though lol

Well since most here now have their G4's and no doubt more to follow
Its good to see that for the most part you are all enjoying and that the G4 provides you with a great user experience.
Sure it has its flaws that will be addressed in time. Then there is always root & ROMs for the more adventurous.
Won't go into great depth here about the device as its been covered greatly.

I'm really trying to enjoy my G3 but my daughter is gloating with her shiny new G4!
I have a few weeks where I can still get the $100 gift card from Best Buy but honestly I know I'm gonna buy one for myself.
