LG G4 frozen on factory data reset screen.

So my LG G4 that I've had for about a year decided to start doing the notorious boot loop last night. I have attempted to soft reset, to no avail.
So this morning I attempted the hard reset. I followed the instructions to a T, but once I confirm the factory reset, it freezes on that screen. I know I'm supposed to press power twice after selecting yes, and it should restart, but it just remains frozen.
Is my phone completely done for, am I missing something, or is there a way around this? I'm desperate

Hold the power button down until it restarts. If that doesn't fix it, you may have to reflash the firmware.

Resetting it isn't likely to fix the bootloop anyway, because the bootloop that plagued the G4 was hardware related. Unless by some miracle your specific issue is software related (bootloops can be caused by a number of issues), I'd just cut your losses and replace it.
