AC Question

Hi, I have an LG G4 and it started restarting or no apparent reason. It then started shutting down and not coming back on. Now it won't power on until I disconnect the battery and replace it. I then get the LG splash screen but can't get further. I tried recovery mode and sometimes I get the Android image then it shuts off, other times it goes past that and say optimizing apps. It then either shuts off or stays on the same app for hours then shuts off.
I've tried to connect it to my PC in the hope that I could recover it that way but my PC doesn't see the phone.
Can anyone suggest anything else at all?

Also, i'm guessing that everything on the phone has now been wiped already? It's fine if it has already, I have post things backed up.

Thanks in advance

Long story short, you've likely suffered the same hardware problem that affected a large number of early batch G4's (made before September) and some later batches. Because this is a hardware problem, there's nothing you can do to fix it short of physically tearing down the phone and replacing parts.

The best thing to do if you need to recover any data is stick it in the freezer about 15-20 min. Then, while still in the freezer, try booting up. This has allowed many people to perform their backups without the phone heating up enough to cause the suspect solder connection to break. If you must remove it to tether to a computer, then you'll want to sandwich it between ice packs or something to keep the phone cold.
