LG G4 : Pictures !

Thank you for the answers. I sure know that in details there are lot of differences between a smartphone and a DSLR. If we zoom in, in a PC we will discover them. But to be honest all our digital photo albums, mean nothing, if they stay in a hard drive. I want to print them in paper. This is the way our moments will last in time. And this is why i asked the difference first place. Is a DSLR so much better in a 5,1X7,1 (aprox) paper?
Don't you believe that our digital photos (apart from those for Facebook etc) should be printed? (sorry for my bad English sometimes :))

If someone has a small vs it would be nice to publish a couple of photos.... thank you

You keep asking about this stuff, so here you go...I'm a portrait photographer by profession, so I can tell you that in my opinion, the G4 is the best cell phone camera out there, primarily because of the f 1.8 aperture that this phone's camera has (to my knowledge, the most wide open aperture of any phone camera), as well as having Optical Image Stabilization (to help eliminate blur from moving your hand during a shot). Having said that, as much a I LOVE it, it can never compare to a DSLR. In addition to a gigantically (a scientific term) larger sensor to record much more captured data, a DSLR has interchangeable lenses. These lenses of different focal lengths, not only allow you to optically zoom in to farther away things, the glass also compresses the image so that it creates/captures proper perspective. For example...if you want to take a close up of someones face, with a cell phone camera, you have to physically get very close to them. Because of the tiny lens on a cell phone, it's going to skew that image in such a way that the persons nose, being much closer to the lens than the rest of their face, is going to look much larger than it really is. This doesn't happen with a DSLR using something like an 85mm (or longer) lens, because that longer lens lets you step further back, and is designed to compress the image so that everything comes out looking the same as you see it with your own eyes (no exaggerated big nose).

In regards to printing your pictures (I think you referenced printing 5x7's), if you're photographing things like landscape scenery, houses, flowers, bugs and people (from not too close up), it does a great job, and at that size (5x7), you're not going to notice any differences in these prints, so shoot, print and enjoy the camera.
