You can use any icons with the stock launcher.

How do you get text on your home screen? And is that text functional, like webpage navigation? I've never seen that.

They are functional. In this case they link to folders (but you could replace any icon that can change its image.) I'm using Nova Launcher, which allows you to change the image of a folder (I'm sure other launchers do too.) Create the folders by moving apps to the page, then piling them on top of each other, just like normal. Then long press->Edit-> tap the icon-> Gallery Apps->Simple Text. Then create the text icon you want.

Been searching and there ARE icon packs that work with lg home. Found another one. This one seems more stable and have most icons. Great for people with want to keep the stock launcher but have some customized control.

Sweet. Thanks. I thought about them being folders, but I didn't know I could make my own icons. I use Nova, too, so I'll keep Simple Text in mind in case I ever get a creative idea or find a killer wallpaper image.

Trying out some of the new Marshmallow wallpaper. Gonna stick with this for a bit. Pretty sure I like it. Might love it in a couple of days.
