Since the G4 is curved, it's already not sitting flush with my old Samsung charger. The charging coil needs to be relatively close to the charger to work, so a thick case combined with the curve could be enough to mess it all up.

All that said, I've been wirelessly charging with the case on for the past few days, with no issues-- every morning, the phone's been at 100% when I wake up. So it seems to be a success at this point.

It spins on my Sammy Qi Charger, but still works.

Once again, I've got 3 backs that I put the Amazon stickers on and they are all working great. No issues.

I use a Landfox sticker and it came with the charger base also for about $10 total. i dont see it on Amazon anymore but now they have a quickcircle case with base for $9

I have the NEwisdom sticker on all 3 of my leather backs, and they all work great. I use a TPU case with them and no issues.

Just pulled off the factory NFC sticker with a knife from my LG G4 and tried three times to get my new Qi sticker to work with my charger. Not sure if it is the contacts or the Qi coil doesn't work. Now I am ordering my 2nd sticker from Ebay. Sure wish I didn't start this in the first place. LG could have fixed this issue for 10 cents more.

Is there any options setting that I could have missed to get it to charge via the Qi since the instructions were worthless and I had finding a youTube video on my own to know how to install it.

The contacts on these have generally needed a little "boost" to connect properly. A small piece of electrical tape, for example, under the contacts on the sticker.

That said, I had two different stickers. One I couldn't get to work at all. The other made my phone insanely hot while wirelessly charging. I threw both away in short order (had them at different times).

I suppose if I had paid more for them I may have stuck with it longer. I wish there was just a replacement back with the capability already installed. Seems LG could have a money grab on its hands if it released one of those.

My NewWisdom QI sticker works with my AT&T LG G4

Tried twice with newisdom without success. I'm positive I have them on correctly. I think it's one of those phone issues that only effect a certain percent of users (like touch issues or lag).

I have had great success with a back cover I ordered from here:

It has the sticker already pre-installled and fits like a glove.
Both NFC and wireless charging work flawlessly!
The wireless charging also still works with a Diztronic TPU case and my Seidio Dilex Pro case.
The price is pretty competitive as well.

Does the G4 get hot with wireless charging? With my G3, it would get ridiculously hot. Especially if you are using it at the time. Like in a car or on my Tylt charger. Wondering if they fixed it. Also with my G3 it was an add on sticker that I used. Not a replacement back. Not sure if that matters.

It doesn't feel that bad to me, but I typically throw it down before going to bed, and by the time I wake up, it's topped off and cool.

I've tried 2 different stickers. The first didn't work at all. A month or so later the second seemed to work, but caused so much heat it was alarming (and my G4 has gotten plenty warm from time to time otherwise).

I threw both away.

yes it can get hot in the middle of charging

What carrier are you with? I'm hesitant to go wireless, assuming I keep my phone, because it seems none of the options officially support the AT&T version.

How long does it typically take to charge using Qi?

So far today I've gotten about 20% in about 2.5 hours charging through the case. Probably a little faster without the case but I haven't bothered trying that. Charging overnight by my bed it's always full in morning, but I never let it get to low bc I have multiple chargers around the house(work at home) and plugged in when driving my car.
