Is the battery hot swappable?

Nope. Big miss by LG IMO. It wouldn't have taken much to incorporate a very small battery to power the phone for a couple minutes to give the user time to swap batteries, slide in the camera module, etc, all without having to reboot.

Yes, the battery is swappable. It takes a little wiggling to get the battery out; however, it's intended to be removed and replaced if you would like. There's no need to purchase a second module just to use a stock battery replacement.

Edit: It thought you were asking if the battery is "not" swappable. I read it a little too fast and mistook hot for not. tourbound129 is correct - it's not hot swappable.

I still think this battery slot is a cool idea, not just a "gimmick" as so many love to call it.
