You normally replace the plate, which comes with glue, but you can use any contact cement. Rubber cement is the easiest to fine (and probably the cheapest). Coat the plate with a thin layer (but not where the depression for the button is), and coat the case with a thin layer. (You can coat the case with more than you need, as far as area goes, because the excess comes off easily.) Wait about 15 minutes, then very carefully place the edge of the plate in place, to make sure you have it right, then lay it down and press it to the case. (Once you put the two - case and plate - in contact, the plate won't be removable without a razor knife, so be very careful that you get it right the first time.) Rub your fingertip all over the plate to make sure that all of it is sticking - but not where the button is.
If there's any excess cement on the case, just rub it and it'll ball up and you can remove it.
