More pics from my office. Wide angle comes in handy at times considering my occupation. Hopefully there's a few aviation geeks on this board who'll appreciate my usual subject matter lol.

Much of my camera woes were related to LG's putrid HDR implementation... I turned it completely off and picture quality improved dramatically... here's a couple from my trip to Hampton Beach, NH last night:

Not bad clarity on this one...

Wide angle shot of one of the large sand castles that were on display. I had thought this was a gimmick when I heard about it at its launch, but I'm finding it incredibly useful.

There's nothing particularly special about the composition of this one... other than the fact that it exists and the people who were next to me struggling to get it the whole rainbow in frame with their iP7+. I heard the woman say "How come he can get the whole thing on his screen?"

I like this one... I was very skeptical of the G6's low light capabilities and dynamic range considering how tiny a sensor LG used, but I happen to think it did quite well on this one.

as I said in the other thread, maybe you have a bad unit because 95% of my pictures are with HDR.

HDR Auto? or HDR On?
On.

I turn it on auto sometimes to see what the phone wants to do.

You have to understand, I'm an obsessive when it comes to cameras. I over-analyze everything and tend to boil over into being hyper-critical. And I half expect it to perform like HDR+, but its really just run of the mill exposure bracketing with some alpha masking. Not impressed.

But... I worked through the demons.

It works quite well.. I rarely ever get blurry shots..

I had an LG G5 but I was really disappointed with the pictures. They all came out not really blurry but just not vibrant or sharp. Not sure how to explain it. I ended up getting a Samsung again but now as it is time to renew I can't help but consider the LG G6. At the beginning of this topic the pictures were like mine on the G5 so I wonder is this just how the LG G6 makes pictures and you like it or you don't or is this a real problem that can be fixed? My hands aren't very steady so if that makes the pictures blurry too, maybe I should just look at some other brands.

A day at the San Diego Zoo. Koala picture has pretty good detail for being as zoomed in as it is.
