LG G6+ is coming out, are you mad you should've waited?

I don't have my G6 anymore but if I did I wouldn't be mad. Quad DAC isn't on my radar.

It did for sure come out of nowhere! I haven't purchased the G6 but if I had, I wouldn't have regretted my choice. Plus, isn't the Plus only available in specific countries?

I feel like the only people that are 'mad' are the people that don't have the phone... People complaining about the chip is funny because you don't even notice it. The day to day is the same as the phones with the newer chip, the battery life is comparable.. I loved the DAC in my V20 but i honestly don't miss it.

Agreed. Specs matter on paper for the most part. It's not running a chipset that's outdated at a. The KEYOne is using a 600 series chipset and it runs great too. You also don't need 6GB of ram either. I know about multitasking but unless you want to keep every all open on purpose you won't notice any tangible benefits. The DAC to me is pointless. Audio is audio and as long as it's not below CD quality I couldn't care less.

G6 is a pointless phone at the current cycle, better wait for V30 and Note 8, then judge.

Honestly, if the G6+ is released in the US, I may still buy the base G6 and welcome the price reduction on it.

RAM does matter. Especially when on the web browser and you have many different apps running. The web browser does take a lot of RAM, showing all the ads, images, flash, texts, and all that. I find myself multitasking a lot more more nowadays with music playing, multiple chat apps open, app notifications, etc. Apps automatically shut down when too much RAM is used.

Except for I never run out of RAM on this device.. I've had it since day one and the only apps that crashed are the ones that have been updated in the play store. My memory runs at 80% all times which is how Android is built to run.

The DAC is amazing.. I had it with the V10 and the V20, but, with my car stereo, my computer and my tablet there is no DAC like that so it's ok. Plus it doesn't work with Bluetooth headphones.. that's the difference.. I don't miss it as much as I thought..

It may sway prices to one side or the other unless you have to buy the G6 now, i would wait.

i Hope G6 + comes to india...i would buy it for extra storage and wireless charging...thou i love the fast charging
i dont really miss wireless charging but having one is great...but it depends what price point it comes in as we already have s8+ 128gb with 6gb ram...thou iam using Axon 7 limited edition 128gb with 6gb ram since 6 months and totally love it

I just don't get the hype on audio quality. I guess I'm just not that picky lol

I have had five or six tabs open and multiple apps while streaming music. No hiccups on a 4gb ram device. It doesn't really matter much.

I've literally had like 20 tabs open and I run 4 Twitter accounts that used to always get notifications.. I turned them off. Haha. Never a hiccup. This had boy handles ram like a G

You just nailed it....That's what I want.... A phone with radar.... I'm all in. This way I can walk and read my phone like all the zombies in New York city and not worry about bumping into things. 😀

no germany but i will import it via eBay same i did with my V20

But i am more interested in the SD835 as a upgrade to my SD820

The 821 is little bit more powerful, some features more and that was it

Will buy the V30 , fingers crossed it has removeable battery.

Total mobile freedom ONLY with removable battery. You can't beat going from 0% to 100% in under a minute and with the charging bundle you never have to plug a USB-C cable into your device ever. just swap batteries :-)

That's the killer feature and not waterproofing.
