I feel like the only people that are 'mad' are the people that don't have the phone... People complaining about the chip is funny because you don't even notice it. The day to day is the same as the phones with the newer chip, the battery life is comparable.. I loved the DAC in my V20 but i honestly don't miss it.
Agreed. Specs matter on paper for the most part. It's not running a chipset that's outdated at a. The KEYOne is using a 600 series chipset and it runs great too. You also don't need 6GB of ram either. I know about multitasking but unless you want to keep every all open on purpose you won't notice any tangible benefits. The DAC to me is pointless. Audio is audio and as long as it's not below CD quality I couldn't care less.
Except for I never run out of RAM on this device.. I've had it since day one and the only apps that crashed are the ones that have been updated in the play store. My memory runs at 80% all times which is how Android is built to run.RAM does matter. Especially when on the web browser and you have many different apps running. The web browser does take a lot of RAM, showing all the ads, images, flash, texts, and all that. I find myself multitasking a lot more more nowadays with music playing, multiple chat apps open, app notifications, etc. Apps automatically shut down when too much RAM is used.
The DAC is amazing.. I had it with the V10 and the V20, but, with my car stereo, my computer and my tablet there is no DAC like that so it's ok. Plus it doesn't work with Bluetooth headphones.. that's the difference.. I don't miss it as much as I thought..Agreed. Specs matter on paper for the most part. G6 is a pointless phone at the current cycle, better wait for V30 and Note 8, then judge.
It may sway prices to one side or the other unless you have to buy the G6 now, i would wait.

I don't have my G6 anymore but if I did I wouldn't be mad. Quad DAC isn't on my radar.
